DREAM FORUM - satan visited me
POSTED January 14, 2012, 22:06 by natalie (Viewed 129 times)

THE DREAM : there were three dreams before the big dream where i swear satan visited me, so please be patient and read my story. the dream started out on a real dark, rainy night. for some reason my dad was a car sales person. in real life he works for the air force. there was writing on the cars in white and he was real mad that it was on them. i looked at one while the rain washed part of the writing off. we had to be somewhere it felt, i think we were delivering a package to a man in a warehouse. anyways, my dad told me to get back into our truck. that's where the first dream ended.

the second started out on the same night, dark and rainy. i was driving my sister's toyota yaris to my highschool parking lot for some reason, i think i had to pick up my sister. she got into the car, but i knew it wasnt her. it felt like a masculine entity was in the car. i told them that they werent my sister and they needed to get out of the car. they flipped open their phone and it read my sister's name on the screen like she had jst tried contacting that phone. i screamed and told them to get out. the next scene showed the phone skidding across tha parking lot in the rain and us running into an alley way. like i was chasing him. the alleyway was illumined and the figure was wearing black robes with the hood pulled down low. a fire at the end of a stick burned bright in his left hand and a snake floating on his right side. they were walking towards me, cornering me, i screamed and ran away out of the alley way.

the third dream, was of myself, driving my sister's car again, but speeding down the cobbled streets of italy. it felt like i had no time whatsoever. everything was slowing down and i needed to ge tto my destination. there were two places a bad place where gangsters and villains were waiting and a good place; where in the front doorway was a dancer in bright beautiful silk dress. dancing like she was in water. i was heading for the bad place. i knew it. but at the last second i rammed my car into the good place. it felt like there was a force field. as soon as i hit that force field the dancer dropped dead and became a mannequin. the scene switched to me skidding into the building (i guess the car was left outside) and sliding underneath a coffee table. i looked around because there were people telling us to get down. there were two other mannquins that were looking at me pleading me to be quiet and stay hidden. like they were live dolls. for people and the mannequins were being arrested. the dreams end there.

now for what happened next. in all seriousness, without lying; because i was and am still truly frightened of what happened next. i woke up but suddenly this huge impact slammed onto my chest, i saw even the airwaves in my room rippled like when water ripples after a stone is cast. i could not move. i could not scream. a black snake slithers up my chest and hisses. i want to scream because it looks like the snake from the other dream. im sorry, im so nervous writing this next part. because it sounds absurd. and it sounds crazy. but i was scared. real scared. i dont know if anyone could possibly know how that feels, but i'll tell you the rest of my story. my sister, who doesnt live with us, leans against my bed. she's completely naked. i do not know why. but i did not see anything,(like breasts, nipples, lower regions) nothing. i thought she came through my door. but i did nto realize until later that in fact she came up from underneath my bed. i was crying out to her, though i couldnt really hear it. i was saying her name over and over. and saying this isnt real this isnt real, help me. she leans across my bed like how she used to do in the mornings when we were little. and looks me in the eyes. there's sympathy. i want to cry but i cant for some reason. im pleading and pleading. she cups my chin, and smirks. laughter fills the room and i want to cry so bad, because the look in her eyes. its not my sister at all. it wasnt human. she pushes and pulls at my body and digs her tongue against the my hip. licking and laughing. i want to cry so bad. i keep saying its not real. i start repeating "my God is my savious. my God is my savious. my Lord is my savious." i try to chant John 3:16 but i couldnt piece the words together right. she grabs my ankles and tries to pull me down over the bed with her, i would say 'playfully' like it was all a joke. i wake up. im breathing crazily! almost hyperventilating. i rush to turn on the light and run out of my room. i dont know what that was. a demon or satan. but i will admit one thing, before i went to sleep that night. i prayed to God. i didnt think he was actually listening to me. so i said the most stupidest thing a christian can say, "maybe i should ask for satan's help, maybe then i'd get some answers. and dear Lord, i will never say such stupid words ever. that was the most scariest thing. i've never felt so helpless and scared.

THE BACKGROUND:my dad works in the air force. my sister and me have never really gotten along. especially when we were living together. at one point i can even say i hated her. which to me is a very strong word. i was arrested back in november, and my court date was coming up in a few days. i was born in italy. i had a series of bad luck events happen to me. arrested, bad break up, serious health issues, new medication for health issues.

This dream sound slike sleep paralysis. Its a sleep phenonoma which really disturbs those who have it. You get feelings of paralysis and cannot move at all. It has a quite simple explanation though. You half wake up in dreams and any dream you get will be very disturbing... including satan or other scarey figures. The dream simply captures your feelings at half waking up - its very uncomfortable. The symbols in the dream such as satan are the minds creation to show how fearful you are

Dream dictionary and dream symbol study

Try this dream guide to help you understand the symbols in your dreams. DREAM GUIDE

-------------------------------------------
DREAM INTERPRETATION PROGRAM: When you post a dream a list of symbols will appear here. They will help you work out what has caused your dream. The following dream symbols all appear in THIS DREAM.

SNAKES Many people say that snakes can symbolize negative emotions such as jealousy or resentment. But why? Snakes can strike at any time and their bite is venomous and unpleasant. So a snake could represent someone whose negative comments could strike at any time. Snakes in dreams

BURNS: Dreams use symbols as metaphors for recent feelings. The dream symbol groups together similar sets of emotions. So a burnt hand in a dream could be the minds way of saying "I am worried about a very sensitive issue?" Think how burning could be a symbol for your emotions.. think of what happened yesterday and worries about being 'burnt' on the day of the dream.

DEATH: Death is often used in a quite abstract way in dreams. If you no longer see an ex boyfriend or girlfriend then if they die in a dream it may simply mean that you realise that you will never see them again(the relationship has DIED!). It may also symbolise a change in your life as are no longer able to do something (If you have a bad knee you can no longer play football so that part of you has died). Dreams are often like short plays and the emotions that they evoke could be feelings that you are experiencing right now. If a dear friend or loved one died then you would be devastated. That just may be your minds way of saying that you really value that person - you could not live without them.

FATHERS: Dream symbols can have several meanings. A father could simply represent your own father so if you have been thinking about him then its likely that the dream is quite literal. But a father could represent father like qualities and pressures. Fathers are famed for being sensible and practical so a father in your dream may mean that you recognise the need to be more realistic.

FINISH: What does it mean if you are finishing something in a dream? Well think of the wider appplications of that theme. Have you been thinking how long something has taken to complete? Do you feel totally unprepared for something? (so you worry that something is unlikely to be completed. Do you need to try harder in some way? (so something is more likely to be completed).

YELLING: Dreams are metaphors so what do you think yelling could symbiolize in your own emotions. If we speak in a brutal and honest way its almost the same as yelling. It shows we do not care about trying to hide unpleasant truths. Conversely yelling may show that you want to say something and be brutally honest but cannot because of rules or you are just trying to be gentle with people. Yelling can symbolise other frustrations - it could be a metaphor for your attempts to make something clear. You could have explained something a million times yet the message still did not get through. Dreams may not necessarily be about you and so a yelling dream may represent your attempts to understand someones strength of feeling. Understanding other people and being able to get along with them is a vital part of being a human being. Effective communication and the ability to emphasise is something that we need to think about.

DEMONS and DEVILS: Dreams represent your thoughts and people around you. So think of the wider meanings of devils and demons. Perhaps you have realised how bad you were yesterday? Or someone wwas really evil and picked on you yesterday? Some dreams about devils have been found to have been triggered by your worries about teenage sons who have been getting into some bad habits and you feel they have been led astray

ALLEYWAY: My studies of dream symbols have revealed some unusual and illuminating results with alleyways. One dream was highlighting the dreamers narrow mindedness - the alleyway was a metaphor for his backstreet view which did not take into account the opinion of others. In another case the dreamer was realising that he did not know what was going on - an alleyway is hidden away and is an exxcellent metaphor. In another case the dreamer was feeling trapped and vulnerable - the alleyway symbolising that entrapment (we fear of getting trapped in a dark alleyway).

GRABBING: -Have you got lots of unused energy right now?
-Do you feel unsettled or unhappy right now?
- Do you feel pressured?
- Have you just shown massive determination and resolve? Do you want to show more resolve?

NAKED: Most dream symbols are easily translated into real day to day thoughts. Actually just reading the wider usages of the word naked in a normal dictionary will help you understand this symbol. One dreamer was thinking over a blatant act from the day before so nakedness was a symbol for actions which were not hidden - they were nakedly obvious.

Naked in dreams

NERVOUS: Dreams often have simple meanings. One dream featured nervousness and this followed a night when the dreamer realised he had an important decision to make. Therefore the nerves represented the realisation that he had to make the right decision and get things right.

SISTERS: What are dream symbols and how d they work? Well think about sisters in real life. Sisters tallk openly and honestly and so a sister could tap into a situation where you have been talking openly and honestly with someone. Or they could represent a wish and need to have such a conversation - a need too let off steam.

Sisters in dreams

STEALING: Dreams represent your feelings so what could stealing in dreams be a symbol for. Real studies of drreams have shown that robbery is a symbol for certain emotions and feelings. They tend to link into resentments and feelings of being undervalued. Why is that so? Perhaps we feel robbed of respect by others? Dreams will tend to link into similar sets of emotions in this way. We are comparing what is happening in real life to metaphors that our minds create.

There are other meanings of stealing in dreams: read about them here - Stealing in dreams

Music in dreams

Dreams represent our deep thoughts and feelings. They are metaphors. They use symbols to compare real life to various memories from the past. We use our experience to make sense of the present.
