Dream symbols - gold

"Golden girls", "Golden boy" and "Golden days" - think of the wider usages of the word "gold."

GOLD IN DREAMS:Understanding dreams is not so difficult. In practice dream symbols translate into certain words within the English language. For instance a "gold" dream may simply translate into the word "the best" and the dream captures the feeling "I cannot fault him as he really tried his best".

GOLD DREAMS - "maximum effort" (quite often we use gold to describe a maximum effort. Has someone really put in 100 per cent? Have you tried your very best and put everything into something? If so then the dream may link to the effort that you have been putting in)
- "special" (Has someone shown how special they are to you?)
- "good news" (Have you just received some good news? if so the dream just shows your good spirits right now. Are you waiting for some good news? Your dream might portray your mind as you picture and hope for the best.)
- "the best" (The Olympics award Gold medals for people who are the very best and dreams will often use gold in a similar way. The metaphor is much looser though and just try to think of someone whom you think of as "the best".)
