Hi Jim8888

Your dream is not about sleep walking. Its simply a metaphor for real life. Your mind is often brutally honest with itself. If you are driving whilst asleep it maybe is a dream of self criticism. Its your minds way of saying "You seem to be putting a lot of effort in yet you are relly not aware of what you are trying to achieve".

The Doctor who slept whilst driving was sleep walking. He was suffering from a sleep disorder. Whilst your mind used sleep walking as a metaphor for lack of direction.
