DREAM FORUM - Three Dreams, or Nightmares? (read background info first)

THE DREAM : The first night, it was at a friend's movie night. Brittney being a head shorter than me is standing extremely close to me, her brown eyes gazing into my own. I am trying to keep up my "vow of silence" against her, and to not give in to my attraction to her. She puts her hand on my freshly shaven face, feeling it slowly. She says, "I am genuinely sorry for calling you a stalker and ending our friendship." I am near my breaking point as she leans into me, her soft stomach mushing into my stomach. I slowly say, "Why are you doing this?" Just to be rightfully wary of her. She is still beaming, and gets on her tiptoes and kisses me on the cheek. She replies, "Because I missed you. And I like you." she hugs my body, and I finally give in and return it.

Later in the dream, while us and our friends are watching a movie, she complains how she's the only single girl there without anyone to cuddle with. Our friends start saying, "Go cuddle with Chris!" Brittney blushes, and I accept her lying down in my lap against my chest. She asks me to grab her voluptuous behind if I want. I try my hardest to resist doing so.

Now, my second dream was WEIRD. I see Brittney in the hallway at school... And she has an enormous pregnant belly that looks like the one the Octomom had, sticking out of her shirt. I remember yelling, "BRITTNEY NO YOU DIDN'T" and similar phrases in shock. And everyone believes that I'm the babydaddy... So I'm forced to be her loving husband to not look like a deadbeat dad, and so she doesn't look like a promiscuous girl without the baby's daddy. I am both horrified I have to be someone else's daddy, and yet thrilled because for the reason stated above, Brittney accepts me as her loving husband. And then the blood tests come back - I AM the father, yet I have no recollection of the conception whatsoever. I tell ya, I woke up from that dream literally yelling, "OH THANK GOD" it was Just a dream...

The third and final dream about Brittney over the three consecutive nights? I was dancing with her Beauty and the Beast style. Sigh.

THE BACKGROUND:Since freshman year, I have been close friends with Brittney, a voluptuous redheaded girl who can sing and act, but also is extremely immature sometimes, and can definetly qualify as a "b*tch" when provoked. Nevertheless, when she briefly moved away sophomore year, she took the move away from her friends hard, and I would stay up numerous nights to console her and talk her through it while she "cried in bed". And well, we started getting flirty with each other a bit. I started falling for her, and it came to a head in June when I full-out liked her.

However, we got into an argument, and eventually I blurted out that I liked her. But the thing was, we were so close to each other, and I didn't want to ruin our friendship. She was cool with it and said she didn't mind, even though she didn't reciprocate my feelings. I tried to quash my feelings over the rest of summer, but it was not to be.

Then when junior year started, I find that Brittney has blocked me from Facebook, won't text me back, and won't speak to me in person. My friend Michael finds a status on Facebook "No I didn't delete my account, you got blocked, stalker!" Which answered my last text to her asking if she deleted her account. Michael and later I confronted her over the "stalker" claims, but she wouldn't answer to me, and Michael caught her in a lie when he confronted her. So we know she's lying, but the question is, why would she do this and kill two years of friendship?

I was and am not angry at Brittney. Just sad, because I still care about her a lot, and she's lost her way. And I'm prepared to wait until she gives up her stubborn tirade. While I have stopped liking her at least once since this "war" began, I can't help but be attracted back again, even though I never speak to her. Brittney isn't the only girl I like, mind you; I like other girls, but Brittney is the strongest one. I like how sweet and loving she /can/ be, and her fiery redheaded passion for things. Plus she can sing, act, and she is quite beautiful.

One time, however, she was hopped up on pain medicine, and she was essentially high or drunk. Apparently your real personality comes out when you're "intoxicated". And Brittney was so sweet to me. "Chris I love your project! Chris you're so smart! Chris you're so cute! Chris I'm sorry for interrupting you!" so what does that suggest, if in her subconscious she is that loving and sweet to me, even though she has this hateful "stalker" tirade against me?

Longest background information EVER, right? Sorry.

Thanks for posting and thanks for all the helpful background information. Dreams go right to the heart of our thinking. They represent our emotions and higher thinking. Often they are highly linked to the present as we are thinking through events and feelings as they happen. So often a dream will be a review of the previous day.

These dreams feature Britney and often dreams about girlfriends or women that we are attracted to are about that person... which makes things easier. Its not often that obvious in dreams

The dreams will represent your latest emotions and feelings at THAT TIME.

I think the dreams will represent these types of emotions.

"I am still drawn to her as she is really wonderful and beautiful"

"I do not realise why she called me a stalker. It did not make sense and we seemed to get along."

"If I had to get married to her then I am not sure how much of a good thing that would be. She is a little unstable and I am not sure how much I could cope with that"

When she dances with you beauty and the beast style ... not sure what you mean by that phrase. But maybe it shows you are willing to accept those terms and definitions... she is the beauty and you the lucky one ... everyone would be surprised

The dream is about each new perspective on the relationship... one day you fancy her ... the next she drives you crazy.. then you wonder why she calls you a stalker. We constantly try to make sense of a world that sometimes does not make sense. Dreams are in a language that we do not fully understand ... they use metaphors that seem strange... yet dreams if understood would pinpoint some key feeling... key new perspective

Try this dream guide to help you understand the symbols in your dreams. DREAM GUIDE

-------------------------------------------
DREAM INTERPRETATION PROGRAM: When you post a dream a list of symbols will appear here. They will help you work out what has caused your dream. The following dream symbols all appear in THIS DREAM.

BLOOD: Dreams often symbolize current emotions so ask yourself what blood could mean. Blood and wounds can symbolize painful issues so think what caused you pain in an emotional sense. Do you feel depressed right now? Have you just broken up with a boyfriend or girlfriend? Did someone upset you or humiliate you yesterday? Feelings like this could have triggered a dream. One dream about rape was actually triggered by a family meeting the day before. The dreamer was belitted by her sister in law - she felt that she had to stand there and take it as she subtly humiliated her.

DEATH: Death is often used in a quite abstract way in dreams. If you no longer see an ex boyfriend or girlfriend then if they die in a dream it may simply mean that you realise that you will never see them again(the relationship has DIED!). It may also symbolise a change in your life as are no longer able to do something (If you have a bad knee you can no longer play football so that part of you has died). Dreams are often like short plays and the emotions that they evoke could be feelings that you are experiencing right now. If a dear friend or loved one died then you would be devastated. That just may be your minds way of saying that you really value that person - you could not live without them.

FATHERS: Dream symbols can have several meanings. A father could simply represent your own father so if you have been thinking about him then its likely that the dream is quite literal. But a father could represent father like qualities and pressures. Fathers are famed for being sensible and practical so a father in your dream may mean that you recognise the need to be more realistic.

YELLING: Dreams are metaphors so what do you think yelling could symbiolize in your own emotions. If we speak in a brutal and honest way its almost the same as yelling. It shows we do not care about trying to hide unpleasant truths. Conversely yelling may show that you want to say something and be brutally honest but cannot because of rules or you are just trying to be gentle with people. Yelling can symbolise other frustrations - it could be a metaphor for your attempts to make something clear. You could have explained something a million times yet the message still did not get through. Dreams may not necessarily be about you and so a yelling dream may represent your attempts to understand someones strength of feeling. Understanding other people and being able to get along with them is a vital part of being a human being. Effective communication and the ability to emphasise is something that we need to think about.

SHOCK: Some dream symbols are fairly easy to interpret. If you feel shocked in a dream then simply think about your emotions and feelings right now. How would you use the word shocked or shocking in real life. It could link to ordinary day to day situations and emotions. Were you shocked by someone's views yesterday? Did something very unexpected happen yesterday? Did you realise that your behaviour maybe considered as shocking yesterday? Would someone be appalled if they found out what you were really up to?

BABIES: Dream symbols tap into situations which have similar emotions. What emotions do you associate with babies? A baby takes a lot of care and attention and so can represent a thought such as "I am really enjoying this new project and I am putting in a lot of effort". So babies can represent positive emotions as we are trying to nurture something or someone in our lives. But babies can also be seen as a burden which we are having to put lots of resources into.

GRABBING: -Have you got lots of unused energy right now?
-Do you feel unsettled or unhappy right now?
- Do you feel pressured?
- Have you just shown massive determination and resolve? Do you want to show more resolve?

MOTHERS: Understanding dreams is often quite easy. Actually dreams symbols can be directly translated in certain words and their meanings are easily understood by reading an ordinary dictionary. Mothers can represent the words and phrases "Welcoming", "reassuring", "helping", "needing closure", "being sensible", "worries", and "taking time". Try to see how your real life thoughts feature words like this and you will start to gain an insight into what the meaning of the dream is. For instance if you were warmly welcomed thed ay before then your mind has been noting this warm welcome - we constantly think over how people react to us. Such dreams don't have much of a meaning (in fact most dreams do not have meanings that help us) - they just represent day processing in the mind.

Dreams represent our deep thoughts and feelings. They are metaphors. They use symbols to compare real life to various memories from the past. We use our experience to make sense of the present.
