DREAM FORUM - Deceased Teacher in Wheelchair

THE DREAM : Dreamed of a deceased person in a wheelchair. I gave him a hug and introduced myself. I told him that I had attended his school. I had a necklace with one of the school's logo. I told him that I wore it so he would know that I attended the school. He was so excited that he raised up out of his wheelchair and gave me a big hug. Some caregiver was with him and had him sit back down. I left. (End of dream)

THE BACKGROUND:I did not know this person on a personal level. He was the founder of the school that I attended in Oklahoma. I attended his classes. He was not in a wheelchair when he was alive on this planet.

After the dream, I felt that it was a good dream.

Dreams use little stories like this to recreate key emotions from the day before. Its often about linking one set of emotions to another. Thats how the brain works. It uses metaphors to compare one situation to another.

Try to associate with the dream and you may learn what it is about. Here are the kinds of associations that you could make.

Did someone give you a hug yesterday?

Did you meet someone from years ago yesterday or think about someone who was a teacher?

Did you wear a necklace or logo on anything yesterday?

Did you wear anything that linked you to anywhere - to show your feelings for that place yesterday?

Think of those emotions int he dream and try to think what relevance the story has in terms of the day before

In what way should you have shown more respect to somewhere in the past... a club, school or whatever that you felt emotions for?

What about someone with an extreme disability... did you think or encounter anyone like that? You may have been thinking of ways of encouraging him or her.
