DREAM FORUM - Demon Dream

THE DREAM : This is the second (but different) demon dream. The first one was this: I was walking along in a city with this nerdy girl who had mousey brown hair and huge glasses on. She suddenly grabbed my head and shouted in a demon language, her eyes glowing red and fingers turning into steel claws. I recited the "Hail Mary" prayer and blessed myself. I "woke up" but I was still dreaming - I woke up into another dream, kind of like inception. I stumbled into the kitchen of my house and sought out my female housemate. I said to her "I need your help, you need to wake me up as I am still dreaming." I repeated this a few times and so she grabbed my head gently, looked into my eyes and told me "You need to wake up, come on, wake up." and then I woke into reality.

Last night I dreamt this one: I was in an abandoned factory, in this little hallway which led to what used to be a bathroom/toilet. The doorway disappeared into a smooth cement wall and I knelt in front of it and started praying. The door way reappeared and I turned off the light but not before a little ghost girl rushed at me because I didn't turn off the light fast enough. I went through each room, whispering a different language but blessing the warehouse. I had to make sure the lights were off and the doors were locked. I met these people (who I have never seen before) at the final doorway. We went through the door and I told the last person to lock it but she freaked out and started running down the stairs. The demons were chasing us because I had tried to cast them out of the building but it didn't work as the last door was not locked and the lights were on. We bolted down the stairs and I "woke up" into another dream. I called out to my boyfriend to come and wake me up as I knew I was still dreaming. He finally came over and tried to help me. It wasn't working. I kept repeating "please help me, I need to wake up." I felt my eyes start to go demonic and so he lifted my arm and ticked me. I woke up in reality.

THE BACKGROUND:Can some one tell me what this means? I am not a big believer in the Christian faith but I am seriously considering doing something about it! I also had normal days and evenings before these dreams.

These dreams mean you have something you are afraid of and you need to find it and face it. If you do not, then the nightmares will get worse.

Well if you are thinking enough about something then it can cause you to dream. So maybe the second dream is about the first. In that way it maybe a dream about a dream. It possibly just revolves around this type of thought - "what was that demon dream about"

That maybe solves the meaning of the second - but that still leaves the first dream to solve.

Maybe thats linked to sleep paralysis?

-------------------------------------------
DREAM INTERPRETATION PROGRAM: When you post a dream a list of symbols will appear here. They will help you work out what has caused your dream. The following dream symbols all appear in THIS DREAM.

BOYFRIEND: A dream about your boyfriend will quite often be about your boyfriend. Such dreams will capture new thoughts and feelings as they emerge from your mind. So try to see how any boyfriend dreams represent changes in your feelings?

TOILETS: Dreams often use symbols which in some way capture a similar emotion. If you are in a toilet its a private and personal matter and something that you like to keep hidden. A toilet dream could be your minds way of saying "I felt vulnerable yesterday as I felt some very private emotions in front of people who I barely know."

For more information read here Toilet dreams

YELLING: Dreams are metaphors so what do you think yelling could symbiolize in your own emotions. If we speak in a brutal and honest way its almost the same as yelling. It shows we do not care about trying to hide unpleasant truths. Conversely yelling may show that you want to say something and be brutally honest but cannot because of rules or you are just trying to be gentle with people. Yelling can symbolise other frustrations - it could be a metaphor for your attempts to make something clear. You could have explained something a million times yet the message still did not get through. Dreams may not necessarily be about you and so a yelling dream may represent your attempts to understand someones strength of feeling. Understanding other people and being able to get along with them is a vital part of being a human being. Effective communication and the ability to emphasise is something that we need to think about.

DEMONS and DEVILS: Dreams represent your thoughts and people around you. So think of the wider meanings of devils and demons. Perhaps you have realised how bad you were yesterday? Or someone wwas really evil and picked on you yesterday? Some dreams about devils have been found to have been triggered by your worries about teenage sons who have been getting into some bad habits and you feel they have been led astray

- Do you feel pressured?
- Have you just shown massive determination and resolve? Do you want to show more resolve?

ABANDON:
