Dream - falsely arrested
THE DREAM - I keep having dreams of being falsely detained by the police and being extremely fearful. (I always fear the police as they can be very racist)
THE REALITY The dreamer was an African American who had been previously subjected to stops and searches that were unwarranted and without just cause.
THE INTERPRETATION Dreams can be quite literal and may just play out a real life fear. This dreamer felt that the police were often racist and applied rules unfairly. He was aware that many young African American men were in jail and many of these did not commit the crimes they were accused of. The dream was a reminder to the dreamer of this very real fear.
