THE DREAM I was with a group of people suffering from cancer. I had been complaining I think. I was learning to live with cancer and accept my fate. I was having to accept the pain.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION The day before the dreamer had particularly bad feet problems. That was after his foot had been significantly better for a few weeks. The dreamer hated this pain and felt "I hate suffering in this way. Its like something is eating away inside me". He had tried everything to avoid this but he now felt powerless and would have to accept his fate.

DREAM ANALYSIS: Cancer can be a symbol for any other illness such as depression, arthritis and debilitating pain. So if you have just been suffering from an illness which seems to be dragging you down then cancer is a very accurate metaphor.
