This dream dictionary uses a bank of hundreds of real dreams to show how dream symbols translate into real life thoughts and feelings.
THE DREAM A little blond girl lives in a dark forest with her father. He blond hair was ringlets & she wore a light colored dress. I never saw her face. Her father wasn't there & he hadn't been for a while because the house looked abandoned and run down. Suddenly it was burned down. The paramedics were shining a light on her laying on the ground. She was awake, half her body was just a skeleton, but she didn't notice. They let her continue playing because she seemed alright. She kept walking through the woods humming & singing & playing with half her bones exposed. She got to a tree & started carving in it while humming. A wolf came up to her & was sniffing the blood on her bones. I could see what was going to happen from my birdseye view & I panicked but I couldn't do anything. She thought he was a cute puppy. Then the wolf bit her bone. She realized what was happening & got scared. I heard crunches and breaks as the other wolves helped tear her apart slowly but it was mostly noises now because I couldn't look, I just knew.
When I woke up I felt like this had just taken place in my room & I was left with a very eerie/anxious feeling. All morning that feeling of the dream stayed with me and I could hear the sounds of the attack very clearly like it actually happened & a couple of times it made me feel physically sick.
GUESSWORK The previous day the dreamer was having strong emotions about her relationship. Recently the relationship was strained because they were unable to live together. The dreamer has always been very loyal but two weeks previously she was contacted by an ex boyfriend without her current boyfriend knowing. She agreed to see her ex two days before this dream. The dreamer was once proud of herself but was now ashamed of her dishonesty and deception. This dream jolted her into cutting ties with my ex before it became irreversible.

ASSOCIATIONS AND SYMBOLIC MEANINGS
1. The dreamer was oblivious to some great danger. How could the dream be seen to represent the shame that the dreamer felt the day before? The little girl could represent the dreamers own honesty. The wolf could symbolise the chances of her being caught out.
DREAM ANALYSIS In guesswork the dream was linked to
the dreamers dishonesty. The dream deals with the following themes
- a danger that needs to be recognised
- a sense of innocence
If you weave together the different themes you
find that they could capture this thought that the dreamer was thinking at the time
-"I really need to recognise the danger I am letting myself in for. I could be caught out by my boyfriend. I have always been proud of my own innocence and honesty."
