THE DREAM - I was in a grotty old bedsit owned by a landlady I had when I was a teenager. At that my life was in tatters. I had no job and no life. I was desperately depressed and unhappy.

THE REALITY The previous day the dreamer saw an old girlfriend and that left him very down. His life was in tatters and this sent him even lower.
