THE REALITY The day before the dream the dreamer had a routine employee counselling session. The woman described herself as a Freudian. The dreamer was a fan of dream analysis but not particularly interested in Freud at all.

DREAM MEANING The dream captures the following feeling within the dreamer - "I had to speak to a work counsellor yesterday. She was telling me about her interest in Freud. I was going to mention my own interest in him but then I decided not to as I do not have a very positive view - he sex obsessed."

DREAM ANALYSIS The dreamer associated this dream with the incident in with his work counsellor. The dreamer associated Freud with sexual obsession so felt this dream could link to his feelings about this Freudian Psychologist. The fact that he was behind the woman showed that he was trying to conceal his views. He did not want to reveal his interest in dreams because although they had lots of common ground he really did not think anything of Freud's ideas whatsoever. So maybe he felt he should not send out any signals to her about a shared interest.
